sticky date pudding

Sticky Date pudding is one of my favourite go-to desserts!!! This is a really easy recipe, but to make it even easier, try baking this pudding in a rectangular cake tin instead of individually and cut into slices. Drizzle with hot butterscotch sauce, a sprinkle of sea salt flakes and a scoop of cold vanilla… Read More Sticky Date pudding with warm Butterscotch Sauce

When we discovered the reason for my daughters bloat and pain was caused by gluten… we had to get creative. My sweet Bria has a sweet tooth and loves cake, so I created this ‘volcanic’ dessert with activated charcoal to put a smile on her face! Yoghurt Panna Cotta with Caramelized White Chocolate

Actress & TV Chef

My culinary roadtrip began in our family restaurants, from washing dishes in my parent's Chinese restaurant, to pushing carts for our Dim Sum service and working the floor as we served hungry diners on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. This deep sense of respect for the industry was integrated with my passion for television when I competed on Masterchef Australia (season 8) placing Top 9. I learnt that to perform your best in the kitchen, you had to have a playful attitude! This led to other opportunities, such as cooking as a featured chef on Gusto TV's A is for Apple where I further honed my skills in simplifying modern classics, and the importance of food styling.

Out of the kitchen, I have also worked on many other film, television and commercial projects - see here for my non-culinary credits.

So what's our mission here?
To cook ourselves happy! :)
